Are you from the US maybe. I am majoring in Biology at Navada State school. I hope to Graduate this fall with my Degree. My Maths is a bit rusty; but I like the look of your Site, so far. Is it new? You have a tidy little Logo. Does it represent, anything Iseason? --Last edited by ferme on 2007-01-15 09:46:16 -- |

Well Ferme. I would be the wrong person to ask about the logo. Saucer is the person , In think. Biology? that is a wide field. Are you majoring in any particular field? I am in new zealand. US2U is a bit farther north in England and Amen is somewhere east of there . I forget exactly where but he says it's nice. I probably have less imput here where we are trying to be very serious. Most of My imput is in a couple of sister sites where more speculative posts are recomended. It does me good though , otherwise i'd expect the posters who want to talk proven theory get caught up in 'coctail party solutions'. US2U will be happy to add the links for you. Cheers Iseason

Thanks. I look forward to meeting us2u. New Zealand. I just love the Maori. Navada is well behind NZ, isn't it? |

Hi Ferme Yes New Zealand is the first land mass to see the sun. at Nelson actually. It was the Mecca for the millenium. our main industries are Dairy , Horticulture and new technologies. We tend to think of things differently. Not everybody, but a higher average in the mix> Rutherford came from here , Genetic advances are as common in our labs as they are rare in our fields. It's a bit of an anomoly. the genetisists work hard at new crop strains , while the greenies work just as hard to stop any genetic material from being grown here. So far the greenies are winning. I tend to like new veiwpoints on old theories. This is not because I think I am Smarter. Just that the new advances in science need to balance against whether they have changed anything that was possible in classical physics. If the same problems still plague them , then they have taken a similar sideroad to thier predecessors and need to revisit the highway. Cheers Iseason

Good to here about it Iseason. MY developing area in Biology is closer to Isotopes, but I see where you are coming from. |
